The Noranda Copper Collection 14x7 snare drum from Ebenor Percussion.
Proudly handmade by the artisan and owner William Leclerc and his father Gilles, in St-Sebastien, Quebec, Canada. This Snare has become a benchmark on the Canadian market . This Noranda Copper series has all the warmth of a wood shell but it also possesses impressive and sharp attack.
It comprises of ten Ebenor signature brass lugs, Ebenor bronze hoops. These parts are 100% made in our workshop, by hand. Also it have a class leading Trick throw off and butt plate and Puresound wires. The thickness of the copper shell is 1/16'' (1.5mm). The shell is cold rolled and TIG welded by hand at our shop.
Each Copper snare drum is finished with a wonderfully unique patina finish, making every drum one of a kind! It takes 8-12 hours to produce the patina finish. And it's always a surprise to discover the result. This drum delivers lots of power, lively overtones and snappy, immediate response. If you are looking for an all-round snare with diverse tuning flexibility, this is that drum.
